PASIGHAT, Apr 16: Nari-Koyu MLA Kento Rina appealed to the people to be partners in development initiatives and to support the government agencies for successful implementation of welfare schemes and projects.
He made this appeal after inaugurating the community hall at Kadu Saku Loglu village under Upper Ramle Banggo in Lower Siang district on Monday, in the presence of prominent leader Ranya Doye, orator Tabin Karlo and the villagers during the three-day Mopin celebration from 16 April.
He advised the people to work selflessly for the betterment of the society, and prayed for a bumper harvest and prosperity for all this year.
The MLA also hailed the celebration committee president, Pumbom Kadu for donating land for the (Loglu) community hall.
The Popir party from APP Colony, Pasighat, enthralled the audience with traditional songs and dances. (DIPRO)
