KOKILA, Apr 17: Seventy-five villagers received free check-up and treatment during a medical camp organized here in Papum Pare district by the Itanagar-based 12Bn NDRF on Tuesday.
Dr GM Sharma, who led the NDRF medical team, said such camps are especially required in the summer season when diseases increase due to lack of awareness.
“We not only treat patients but also create awareness on ways to protect themselves from seasonal diseases,” said Dr Sharma, adding that such camps also build a strong relation between locals and security forces.
