‘Shift irrelevant assets from school campus’

RAGA, Apr 19: The All Kamle District Students’ Union (AKDSU) has urged the Kamle deputy commissioner to shift the community hall of Raga-II and the BRC office out of the campus of the government higher secondary school (GHSS) here.
In a representation to the DC, the union also informed that the Raga-II upper primary school, located in the GHSS’ campus, falls in a sinking zone and needs to be shifted elsewhere.
“The GHSS being a centre for CBSE examinations and a learning centre for open school is also the highest educational institute of the district, which needs to be protected,” the union said, adding that assets and properties irrelevant to the GHSS should be either shifted or handed over to the school authority, “so that they can be utilized for other academic purposes.”
