YUPIA, Apr 19: Strategies and steps to finalize the implementation of the Special Intensified Mission Indradhanush (SIMI)-2018 in Papum Pare were discussed during a district task force meeting conducted by the District Health Society here on Thursday.
Addressing the participating MOs in-charge, representatives from the ICDS and education departments, and staffers of the health department, Yupia EAC Mabi Taipodia underscored the importance of providing correct information on tasks assigned and timely uploading of reports on government portals to ensure easy accessibility of information.
DMO Dr Tasso Kampu Subu urged line departments like the ICDS and education to support the medical team during the immunization programme, while WHO SMO Dr Tage Taka informed that the SIMI this year will focus on “vaccination-compromised areas,” particularly partially and unvaccinated areas.
DRCHO Dr J Ado made a presentation on the district’s SIMI micro-plan, and requested all the MOs in-charge to submit their reports and micro-plans on time. (DIPRO)
