APFA emphasizes need of proper stadiums for development of football

NAHARALGUN, Apr 21: The Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA) emphasized the urgent need of building a proper stadium in every district headquarters for development of football in the state.
In order to produce quality players, the state urgently needs a proper stadium in every district headquarters, the APFA observed during its annual general meeting here on Saturday.
The association also sought more financial assistance and support from the state government for implementation of its developmental programmes and policies.
The meeting, which was presided over by APFA president Takam Sanjoy, discussed various issues related to development of football in Arunachal Pradesh.
A few major amendments in the constitution of the APFA were passed in the meeting. The APFA’s annual events calendar for the current year was also released on the occasion.
Earlier, APFA coordinator Orin Lego presented the association’s annual activity report of the previous year.
