DC inaugurates five community toilets

ITANAGAR, Apr 24: Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan on Monday inaugurated five community toilets within IMC Ward No 8, and handed them over to SHG Dai Dasa for upkeep and maintenance.
Ward 8 Councillor Donik Tayu, Circle Officer Moyir Kato, officials of the PHED, and members of the SHG were present at the inauguration.
The community toilets consist of two separate units: for males and females. Nominal user charges will be collected by the SHG for upkeep and maintenance of the toilets. The DC encouraged the citizens of the capital complex to use the facilities.
The community toilets are located at Lower Niti Vihar; near the police check post in TT Marg; near the veterinary hospital in Abotani Colony; near the APEDA office; and near Minister Bungalow, Mowb-II.
