TARASO, Apr 30: Youths of Taraso circle in Papum Pare district benefited from a two-day awareness camp on protection of the local flora and fauna, organized recently by the Taraso Circle Youth Association (TCYA).
Addressing the participants, Forest Range Officer Nabam Hachang advised them to protect and preserve the area’s rich flora and fauna and take steps to prevent forest fires.
Taraso Anchal Samiti Chairperson Panye Takang advised the youths to guide their parents against destruction of flora and fauna.
The awareness camp concluded on Monday.
