Felix seeks report on delay of academic session of Palin Degree College

ITANAGAR, May 2: PHE & WS, Parliamentary Affairs, IPR & Printing Minister Bamang Felix sought a report on the delay in starting the academic session of the Government Model Degree College in Palin.
The government had ordered for establishment of the model college in the year 2011-12
Holding a joint meeting with the Kra Daadi district administration, represented by Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu and Directorate of Higher Education at his office in the Civil Secretariat on Wednesday, Felix requested the officers of the department of Higher Education to visit the college in Palin to find out the problems, which could be sorted out, to start the academic session of the college from the current year.
He asked them to plan their trip within seven days and submit the report by 10 days.
The team would also be visiting Tadar Taniang Government Degree College in Nyapin and Government Polytechnic Institute in Layang during their tour.
The meeting was a follow up to the request made by the locals during his recent visit to Kra Daadi district to start the college at the earliest.
