Healing crusade held

BOMDILA, Jun 1: The Kameng Christian Forum (KCF) under the aegis of the Arunachal Christian Forum (ACF) recently organized a three-day healing crusade at Buddha Stadium here.
More than 10,000 Christians from 17 denominations which fall under the KCF participated in the healing crusade which had evangelists Joram Dol from the state and Ado Kizo from Nagaland participating as focal speakers and healers.
Local MLA Japu Deru, who attended the inaugural function of the crusade, called upon the Christian community, particularly those of East Kameng, West Kameng and Tawang districts, to maintain communal harmony amongst themselves and believers of other faiths.
“Spread the message of love and oneness to all,” Deru said while appreciating the KCF for its initiatives.
KCF president Aju Khonjuju highlighted the activities and achievements of the forum since its establishment in 2007. He also spelt out the upcoming activities of the forum and sought the cooperation of one all.
Among others, healing crusade organizing chairman, evangelist Sonara Degio and secretary Bonny Sakrinsow spoke.
Meanwhile, attending the crusade on the second day, PHE Parliamentary Secretary Kumsi Sidisow assured all-out support from his end in the KCF’s its future endeavours.
Healing crusade is a type of revival meeting, a gathering of Christian worshipers who meet for the purpose of healing of the sick, usually in a large makeshift venues erected specifically for the purpose.
“Various sicknesses and ailments were healed during the three-day crusade,” the committee informed.
