PASIGHAT, Jun 1: The All East Siang District Students’ Union (AESDSU) has urged the district administration to “restrain” the management of the hotels operating in the district.
In a representation to the deputy commissioner, the union said hotels in Pasighat town “permit young boys and girls to intake alcohol and indulge in antisocial activities,” and urged the administration to regulate the operation of the hotels by putting restrictions in place.
It demanded that the authority keep the hotels under observation and regularly check the records of guests.
