Orphanage wards pass AISSCE

ITANAGAR, Jun 12: Kamphu Hollen Orphanage (KHO), where around 25 orphans reside under the guidance of its chairperson Renu Bengde, has brought laurels to the orphanage as five of its wards passed the AISSE and one earned compartment.
Two of the students were studying at Oju Mission Itanagar, two at Kameng Presidium School Seppa, and one at GHSS Seppa. They passed five papers and got compartment in one.
The rest of the 19 children of the orphanage also passed all their examinations with different grades from Class 1 to 9.
“This is the first batch of Class 10 students from KHO to pass from different institutions. It is a day to remember and cherish as my children have passed the AISSE exam with a good percentage in their maiden attempt,” Bengde said.
The contract with Oju Mission School has expired, and the student at the institution will be admitted to another school for further studies, she added.
“I am trying my best to provide quality education to my children. Though I have to bear the cost of cloths, books and other needs of the children, all the hard work has borne fruit,” she said.
Bengde thanked all the well-wishers and teachers from Oju Mission, Kameng Presidium and GHSS Seppa for their support.
