NAMSAI, Jun 16: As many as 209 farmers received training in beekeeping, mushroom production and vermicompost conducted by the Namsai KVK at Alubari Major village on Saturday as part of the activities under Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan (KKA).
A collaborative training programme for veterinary field staffers was also organized under the leadership of Namsai DVO Dr Keshab Sharma.
Namsai KVK animal science specialist Dr Binod Kr Dutta Borah and Lekang SVO Dr Jayanta Mungklung imparted training to 29 field staffers on proper execution of artificial insemination in selected villages of the district under KKA.
Senior scientist Dr Manish Kanwat and SMS Dr D Sasmal also gave their inputs.
