ITANAGAR, Jun 20: Miss Arunachal 2018 Osin Mosu made her state proud by winning the ‘Miss Congeniality’ sub-title in the 55th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant, which was held on 19 June at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai.
Her costume was designed by designer Nabam Akaa Taba from the house of Akaa Creations.
Akaa, who also witnessed the grand finale, said she conceptualized and created the costume for Osin, drawing inspiration from the traditional dress of the Tagin tribe.
Three contestants from the North East -Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia (Manipur), Mary Khyriem (Meghalaya) and Lily Lalremkimi Darnei (Mizoram) had made it to the top 12.
Anukreethy Vas, a 19-year-old Tamil Nadu college student, has been crowned Femina Miss India 2018.
Meenakshi Chaudhary from Haryana was the first runner-up, while Shreya Rao Kamavarapu from Andhra Pradesh secured the second runner-up position.
