ITANAGAR, Jul 15: Hundreds of candidates from the Nyishi community, as well as a few from other communities, aspiring to appear in the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive (Prel) Examination-2018 benefited from a workshop-cum-motivation programme organized by the Nyishi Elite Society’s career guidance cell (NES-CGC) at Dera Natung Government College here on Saturday.
Motivational speeches delivered by the first Arunachal Pradesh judicial service cadre from the community, Epi Kapu, Papum Pare DC Dr Joram Beda, and Itanagar Circle Officer Bittu Kri (who is the APPSCE-2016 topper), were the key highlights of the event.
Itanagar-based Success Point Coaching Institute’s faculty member Rajiv Singh gave a four-hour-long lecture on APSC-related subjects and topics of interest.
Earlier, NES-CGC) chairman Dr NT Rikam outlined the importance of the programme.
NES president Bengia Tolum in his presidential message dwelt on the nitty-gritty of the present competitive world, and on the need for perseverance to attain one’s goal. He cautioned the aspirants about unsolicited rumours of backdoor entry, and asserted that hard work is the only key to success.
NES-CGC member secretary Nangram Pingkap and vice-chairman Toko Babu (who is the APPSC 1995 batch topper) also enlightened the aspirants with their lectures.
NES central executive members, along with vice-presidents Tarh Tabin (east) and Dr Tachi Taku (west), general secretary Heri Maring and others also attended the programme.
