GUWAHATI (Assam), Jul 17: Indian Youth Congress (IYC) president Keshav Chand Yadav urged the Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) members to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity and dedication to bring back the Congress party in the 2019 elections.
Yadav said this during a meeting with an APYC team, led by its president Geli Ete, which called on him here on 15 July.
The IYC national president also directed APYC to organize a state level youth Congress convention-cum-rally in Arunachal at the earliest.
APYC vice-president Giogi Ganga appealed to the APYC members to gear up for the forthcoming assembly and general elections and work with more enthusiasm in the greater interest of INC party in the state.
APYC general secretary Tanu Dulom (Nima) requested Yadav and IYC secretary (Arunachal Pradesh in-charge) Monalisha Banerjee, who attended the meeting, to “give special preference to dedicated and sincere Youth Congress leaders and workers in the panchayat, municipal and assembly elections in the state.”
APYC general secretary Jose Nabam Tana also spoke.
