PANGIN, Sep 6: Team Komsing won the 1st Tagi Taloh Memorial Football Tournament trophy after defeating DASC 2-0 in the final match held here in Siang district on 4 September.
The winning team lifted the trophy, along with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. The runner-up team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 50,000. Cash prizes were also awarded to the winners in the best goalkeeper, man of the tournament, best scorer, and best disciplined team categories.
Twenty-six teams participated in the tournament, which was organized in memory of the late father of MLA Tapang Taloh.
Among others, state BJP president Tapir Gao, MLA Tapang Taloh, and DC Rajeev Takuk attended the closing ceremony. (DIPRO)
