NAMSAI, Sep 12: A newly constructed ward of the community health centre at Chongkham was inaugurated by MLA, Chow Tewa Mein here on Wednesday.
In his address, Mein said health and education are the priority sector of the present government and all efforts are being taken up to strengthen these sectors. He further expressed hope that the development of newly upgraded CHC will immensely benefit the people of the area.
Namsai Deputy Commissioner, Tapasya Raghav advised medical officers and their staffers to discharge their duty with sincerity and dedication.
Khamti Chief Chow K Namchoom and DMO Dr Nani Rika were also present on the occasion.
