Scores registered during awareness camp

AALO, Sep 24: As many as 158 labourers were registered during an awareness workshop and registration drive organised here on Sunday by the BRO Labour Union (BROLU) and the Joint Working Committee of Arunachal Pradesh Trade Unions.
Addressing the gathering, Officer Commanding of the Thumbin-based 44 BRTF, Darsi Prakash, said the BRTF is doing its best for the welfare of the workforce by ensuring timely payments, opening of schools for their children, and taking care of their health.
APB&OCWWB registering officer Jumnu Ligo along with BROLU president Rinto Ete and general secretary Tumge Ete spoke on the latest labour laws, registration of labourers, and welfare measures, and appealed to the BRO authorities to provide all facilities to the labourers. (DIPRO)
