KHONSA, Sep 27: Tirap Deputy Commissioner PN Thungon has directed the district’s revenue generating departments to launch a drive to enhance the district’s revenue by 10% every month.
Addressing a district level monitoring committee meeting here on Thursday, the DC asked the power and the PHE&WS departments to disconnect all unauthorized electricity and water supply connections in the district.
He asked all the executing agencies to ensure that the ongoing projects under them are completed and handed over to the user agencies within the timeframes.
He also said an NOC should be obtained from the parent department while proposing any project on the existing roads, and stressed on mandatory submission of ongoing schemes to the administration.
The participating HoDs made PowerPoint presentations on the progress of the works in their respective departments. (DIPRO)
