Gender sensitization prog held

RONO HILLS, Oct 5: Forty people from different parts of the capital participated in a gender sensitization programme organised at RGU by Itanagar-based Indo-Global Social Service Society (IGSSS) in collaboration with RGU’s social work department on Thursday.
The programme featured discussions on the topics of ‘women and their problems’ and ‘gender-based violence’.
The university’s social work HoD Dr KP Singh along with Dr Ravi Ranjan Kumar, Prof Jumyir Basar and Assistant Professor Chaphiak Lowang were the resource persons.
IGSSS project coordinator Romali Teronpi also spoke.
