ITANAGAR, Oct 14: Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Neelam Nido passed away following a massive heart attack at his residence in Doimukh on Sunday evening.
Hailing from Lumri village under Yachuli circle, he was currently serving as DFO of Banderdewa Forest Division.
Meanwhile, the All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of Nido.
ANSU president Toko Takam, on behalf of the union, conveyed deep sense of condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
Arunachal Christian Forum (ACF) general secretary Toko Teki deeply mourned the sudden demise of Nido.
“He was a very sincere and dedicated officer, and his untimely death is a great loss for the state,” Teki said.
