PASIGHAT, Oct 15: The combined annual training camp for NCC cadetsof Arunachal Pradesh is being conducted by 22 Arunachal Pradesh
(Independent) Company NCC, Pasighat from 14 to 22 October 2018 at the KendriyaVidyalaya,here in East Siang district.
Altogether 428 cadets are attending and receiving training indrill, map reading, field craft, physical fitness and firing.
Otherthan military subjects, the cadets will also be taught yoga by acertified instructor, disaster management by the NDRF and health and hygiene by the Public Health Department of Pasighat.
Personalitydevelopment of cadets will also be carried out by exposing them topublic speaking, group discussions on current topics and talent huntcompetitions.
Colonel Pratim Kumar Hembrom, Officer Commanding NCCPasighat said that the training will make the cadets disciplined, responsible and good citizens of the nation.
Brigadier SK Lama, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters, Dibrugarh,inspected the training camp on Sunday, and told the cadets that the camp would transform their way of life.
He also encouraged the cadets to contribute positively towards improvement of society, while also highlighting the various opportunities the NCC has to offer to the cadets.
