ITANAGAR, Nov 3: A team from the capital complex district administration, comprising AMDO Tapong Ekke and mineral guards Techi Laniang and Tok Prem Camder seized two vehicles from the Jullang riverbed, besides eight Tata Mobiles, a tractor and a truck from the Kankar Nallah quarry area during a series of surprise checks on Friday.
The administration has banned all kinds of illegal mining activities within the capital complex.
The AMDO also briefed drivers on having documents like TR-5 for on-the-spot royalty deduction, and mining permits of office royalty deduction. He also briefed them about the APMMCR Act. (DIPRO)
