DC calls for making dist hospital functional

YUPIA, Nov 9: Papum Pare DC Dr Joram Beda said the notified district hospital in Doimukh should be made functional, and that non-functional medical sub-centres and PHCs should be “reworked and re-notified.”
Addressing a meeting of the District Health Society (DHS) here on Friday, the DC also proposed upgrading one CHC in the district to a first referral unit.
Seriously viewing the failure to expend the fund of the 2017-’18 financial year, the DC directed the DMO and the DRCHO not to remit the RKS fund of the current financial year until the statement of expenditure is submitted to the DHS.
He also asked the DMO to “put to task” the non-functioning RBSK team, and said the MO in charge of the RBSK should be stationed at the DMO’s office “and form a quick response team comprising two doctors, two ANMs and one pharmacist.”?
The DC directed the DMO and the DRCHO to issue an order to the VHSN committees and the MAS to carry out activities under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan every month in their respective villages and wards.
Dr Beda also directed that all fund transactions in the district be done only through the PFMS. ?
Among others, DMO Dr Subu Tasso Kampu and DRCHO Dr Worar Taku attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
