ITANAGAR, Dec 31: Governor BD Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have in separate messages extended New Year greetings to the people of the state.
“New Year is the time for new beginnings and new resolves in life. Let us start the new year with lofty vision, new vigour and absolute determination to take Arunachal Pradesh to the pinnacle of development and prosperity,” the governor said in his message.
“With utmost honesty, transparency and accountability, we must discharge our role in the progress of the state, wherever we may be placed and whatever position we may be holding,” he said.
The chief minister in his message credited the efforts put in by everyone, including politicians, bureaucrats, technocrats, teachers, the working class, and youths, for the achievements the state made in 2018.
“It’s the collective and sincere efforts put in by all that we have recorded a never before raise in revenue generation. I and every citizen of the state have full faith that the good trend would continue into the new year,” he said. (Raj Bhavan and CMO)
