CHANGLANG, Jan 6: The Bailey bridge over the Namchik river at Singwang village in Changlang district was inaugurated by Nampong MLA Laisam Simai on Saturday.
The work on the bridge was executed by the public works department under the Special Area Development Authority (SADA).
Addressing the gathering, Simai said the bridge was of utmost necessity to connect villages like Hatman, Sasum, Ranghill, etc, with Renuk circle headquarters.
Earlier, the MLA inaugurated a guest house for gaon burahs of Manmao and Renuk circle, which was constructed by the RWD under SADA.
Jairampur ADC SS Choudhury, HoDs and public leaders accompanied the MLA. (DIPRO)
