KAKOI, Feb 9: A five-day rural camp themed ‘Swachh gaon, sundar Bharat’, conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University’s (RGU) social work department, at Kakoi village in Papum Pare district concluded on Saturday.
The camp was inaugurated by RGU Vice Chancellor Prof Saket Kushwaha in the presence of 12 Bn NDRF Commandant Umesh Kumar Thapliyal and Kakoi CO Khoda Rakhi.
Various participatory activities were conducted during the camp, based on the needs and issues of the village, like health, sanitation and education, along with invited lectures, participatory rural appraisal, awareness programmes, skits, cleanliness drive, cultural programmes, and such.
