RUKSIN, Mar 26: The Janata Dal (Secular), which has fielded a candidate for the Pasighat West assembly seat in East Siang district, started its poll campaign in the constituency on Tuesday.
Addressing a public gathering at the JD(S) office here, party candidate Tapang Taloh said he was making issues of local development his “main poll plank.”
Taloh, a retired elementary education director, said he would take up development of the education, health and agriculture sectors on priority.
“Besides the key issues, I shall deal with surface link communication, water supply and other common problems of the local people,” he added.
