ITANAGAR, Apr 19: Citing incidences of violence in the Palin assembly constituency in Kra Daadi district, an election agent of the Indian National Congress for the constituency, Tarh Johny, in a representation to the chief electoral officer (CEO) here on Friday requested him to shift some of the polling booths for re-polling due to security reasons.
The election agent requested the CEO to declare the returning office in Palin as the designated location for re-polling, if re-poll is ordered in Palin.
He also sought declaring the district election office in Koloriang as the designated location for re-polling for the Rakso polling station, and declaring the returning office in Palin as the designated location for re-polling for the Reibalo polling station, if re-polls are ordered.
