KHONSA, May 13: A training programme on counting of EVMs, VVPATs, postal ballots and ETBPS was held at the badminton hall near the PWD circuit house here in Tirap district on Monday.
EAC Hakresha Kri and two other trainers from the education department imparted the training to all the counting officers and staff.
Earlier, two minutes of silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul of Rakesh Pangging.
The EAC informed that Pangging was “engaged in election counting Suvidha purpose,” and said his death was an irreparable loss to the education department and the district. (DIPRO)
