Tuki vows to focus on essential services

SAGALEE, Jun 14: Former Chief Minister and Sagalee constituency MLA Nabam Tuki on Thursday while addressing the party workers and supporters here stated that health, education, banking and road sectors will be given top priority by him in the next five years.
“The commitments and promises made during 2019 election for all round development will be fulfilled” Tuki said, while expressing his gratitude to the voters.
Tuki informed that in the next five years every village in Sagalee will have proper water supply and road connectivity. In all zilla segments the schools and hospitals will be upgraded with complete all round infrastructural development. But my main agenda will be to improve social, economy, industrial sectors and employment generation, Tuki added.
“Approval for establishing State Bank of India at Sagalee has been received but due to non-completion of building infrastructure, the process was stopped. But this too will be completed now with ATM facilities,” he said.
On Yazali-Mengio road, Tuki informed that PMGSY up-gradation sanction has been finalized and tender work has been done. The construction work for Yazali-Mengio road will begin soon once the monsoon season gets over while the road from Cola Camp to Toru will also be repaired. All weather roads for every village will be completed in the next two years, Tuki further promised.
