LONGDING, Jun 15: Vikram Singh Malik who is set to join as DC, Capital was given a warm sendoff by employees of Longding DC office.
Addressing his former colleagues, Malik said that he is aware of the challenges govt employees face working in tough locations like Longding.
He recounted difficulties faced while conducting parliamentary and assembly elections in district with facilities lacking.
He urged them to cooperate with the new administrator and said that without their cooperation office of DC cannot function.
SP Longding Rohit Meena, speaking on the occasion appreciated Malik for his cooperation with the law enforcement agency during Niaunu-Zedua conflict and the election.
JMFC Longding Epi Kapu appreciated Malik for his help in setting up JMFC office at Longding and for providing comfortable working condition.
Meanwhile, Cheshta Yadav, an IAS officer of AGMUT 2014 batch will take charge as the new DC of Longding. DIPRO
