PATIALA, Jun 29: Union MoS (Independent) for Youth Affairs & Sports, Kiren Rijiju, inspected the ongoing boxing camp and training activities at the National Institute of Sports (NIS) here in Punjab on Saturday.
Rijiju interacted with the Indian men’s boxing contingent and coaches, and watched the sparring sessions as the pugilists prepare for the upcoming championships.
The senior boxers spoke about the existing training facilities at the institute, and offered inputs on modernizing the facilities.
The MoS assured the pugilists of all possible support in their preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
