Payum circle is located nearest to the China border and is one of the remotest circles of Arunachal Pradesh. It was established in 1954 in the NEFA era. Since then there is no developmental activities in that area. Till today we are being neglected in every sector. There is no road connectivity, no proper school, no health centre, no telecommunication. We ask the central and state governments, where is ‘Sabka saath sabka vikas’? And where is the ‘New India’ slogan?
We are surviving in a pathetic condition.
I urge the state government under the young and dynamic leadership of CM Pema Khandu to look into the matter very seriously and genuinely to bring prosperity in Payum area.
