ITANAGAR, Jul 26: The Dera Natung and Sangey Lhaden meritorious awards for Class 10 and Class 12 toppers of 2018-19 were given away on Friday.
The awards were conferred on 22 students from various schools in the state who have secured 92.6 percent and above marks.
While 12 girl students received the Sangey Lhaden award, 10 boys received the Dera Natung award. The awards include cash prizes, medals and certificates.
Secondary Education Director Gania Leij presented the awards to the students during a function held at the secondary education directorate here.
Congratulating the students, Leij advised them to strive for excellence in life.
Parents, well-wishers and officials of the directorate attended the function.
