Philanthropic activities carried out

ZIRO, Jul 26: Members of the Radhe Hallu Welfare Committee (RHWC) carried out a series of philanthropic activities here in Lower Subansiri district on Friday.
The committee’s members handed over traffic management signboards for Ziro-Hapoli township to SP Hemant Tiwari, in the presence of EAC Lod Takar and members of the market committee and the traffic police.
“As and when the weather is clear we will also paint and mark the designated parking areas for four-wheelers and two-wheelers,” informed RHWC chairman Radhe Chatung.
Lauding the contribution, the SP said the initiative would be “a trendsetter, and all the NGOs should come out with such noble plans for the society.”
The committee also donated steel-framed waiting chairs to the Gyati Takka General Hospital here and the CHC in Old Ziro, in the presence of Medical Superintendent Dr Kime Horming.
