PALIN, Aug 3: The Kra Daadi district unit of the All Arunachal Contractors’ Welfare Association submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner here on Thursday, requesting him direct the PWD and the RWD to adhere to the District Based Entrepreneurship Act while executing projects in Pipsorang circle.
The association said it would ensure that only experienced and qualified firms can execute the works as per the BADP norms.
“Since the start, BADP projects have not been implemented properly through the PWD and the RWD. Government fund is misused due to non-implementation of the BADP projects through the tender process. Hence, a proper instruction is to be given to the PWD and the RWD, so that the quality of work could be retained,” the association said.
