AALO, Aug 6: The town middle school here in West Siang has become the first school in the district to be declared a ‘plastic-free school’.
The school’s headmaster, Degam Ete, is a state awardee and has been involved in socially beneficial activities throughout his service.
Students from Classes 6 to 8 are divided into four groups, with three teachers in each group who guide the students in taking up the task of cleanliness in a competitive way. (DIPRO)
