PALIN, Aug 6: The All Palin, Chambang, Yangte, Gangte & Tarak-Langdi Students’ Union on 31 July submitted a 15-point memorandum to the Kra Daadi deputy commissioner, and sought early fulfillment of its demands.
The union’s demands include, inter alia, shifting of the Palin general ground, demarcation of the government schools in Palin, Chambang, Yangte, Gangte and Tarak-Lengdi circles, construction of a wall around the campus of the girls’ hostel of the government secondary school here, proper electricity supply in various villages, shifting of the SBI branch in New Palin, construction of Trans-Arunachal Highway from the New Palin petrol pump to the Palin river bridge, completion of blacktopping of the Bokam-Chambang road, completion of the NLCPR road from Rayung to Tudubath, completion of the Pagu hydel project, and shifting of the hydropower division’s office from Lower Subansiri to Kra Daadi.
