TAWANG, Aug 8: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday laid the foundation stone for the district BJP office here.
In his address, the CM commended the party’s district unit, and urged the party’s workers to dedicate themselves to strengthen the BJP at all levels.
Khandu also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah for according union territory status to Ladakh.
Lumla MLA Jambey Tashi, Tawang MLA Tsering Tashi, Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak, Dirang MLA Phurpa Tsering and others were present at the inauguration.
Khandu later met with his constituents in Jang, where he also handed over bicycles to two cyclists from Arunachal, presented by MTB Arunachal. (CMO)
