ITANAGAR, Aug 8: The NHPC has announced its second batch of sports scholarships for upcoming sportspersons in five sports categories – football, kabbadi, boxing, wrestling, and parasports.
The scholarships are aimed at encouraging promising young players between the ages of 14 and 19 years (14 and 24 years for parasports) during their formative years of education.
The applications will be considered for scholarships in two categories – ‘elite scholar’ and ‘scholar’ – based on the fulfillment of the required criteria. The details regarding the scholarships are available in the ‘career corner’ of the NHPC’s website www.nhpcindia.com.
