ITANAGAR, Aug 11: Two extra-time goals from Sartam Raja secured defending champion Gohpur Sporting Club (GSC) a berth in the final of the Independence Day running trophy football tournament on Sunday.
They will meet Champion FC in the title clash on 15 August.
The first semifinal, played between GSC and T-Group FC, went into extra-time after the teams were tied 1-1 at regulation time.
Tatung Lingkesh and Ratan Ocean scored the regulation time goals for their respective teams, GSC and T-Group FC.
Champion FC reached the final with a 4-1 win over Chandranagar FC in the second semifinal on Sunday.
While Toko Polliam scored a brace, Region Tapu and Gyamar Kuku netted a goal each for the winning team.
The consolation goal for Chandranagar FC was scored by Tadar Kujum.
