ZIRO, Aug 24: St Claret College here in Lower Subansiri district on Saturday felicitated its rank holders under the Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) examination of 2019.
The college bagged seven out of the top 10 spots in BA in the state, and two of the top 10 spots in BCom and mass communication streams, respectively.
Additionally, 35 subject-wise toppers under RGU were inducted in the college’s ‘hall of fame’.
Ziro-based Indira Gandhi Technological & Medical Sciences University’s vice chancellor Dr Mridula Saikia Khakinor and PWD SE Dani Gamboo lauded the achievement of the students, and exhorted them to benefit from the experiences they gather from the college.
Bamin Rinyo, the university topper for BA, thanked the college and encouraged the juniors to perform even better.
Inna Mihu was also awarded the Habung Pappu memorial scholarship for being the topper in BA I.
Other awards were also presented on the occasion.
