DC seeks commitment to implement health progs

AALO, Sep 20: West Siang DC Swetika Sachan has sought “full commitment from all the stakeholders” in implementing health programmes in the district.
She said this during a district level meeting on 18 September to review the implementation of various national heath programmes in the district.
DMO Dr Moli Riba urged the medical superintendent and medical officers to conduct training and coordination meetings on the National Deworming Day at the block level.
“The routine immunization activities as per the micro-planning must be conducted in all the health facilities to achieve full immunization coverage,” Dr Riba said.
DFWO Dr T Kamki spoke about the Kayakalp Award. The award is given to health facilities which maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. He informed that “Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak has recently announced Rs 3,00,000 cash reward for any CHC or PHC in his constituency for the improvement of their health centre for Kayakalp Award.”
The Yomcha CHC, managed by Dr Jumge Padu, “has received Rs 3,00,000 for achieving 70 percent score in the first quarter Kayakalp Report, 2019-20,” Dr Kamki said.
The DC along with the DMO, the DFWO, ICDS Deputy Director (in-charge) Baye Koyu, CDPO Horda Loyi and DPM Yomto Lollen also attended an anaemia camp organised under the Poshan programme. (DIPRO)
