KHONSA, Sep 21: Members of several self-help groups (SHG) of Tirap district were sensitized to Ayushman Bharat (or the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana) and the Poshan Abhiyan during a programme organized by the district urban development agency here on Friday.
UDH AE L Hosai highlighted various features of Ayushman Bharat and some of the main components of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission.
He also advised the SHG members to join the campaign against single-use plastic products.
While Dr Somfa Sumpa from the health department explained the benefits of Ayushman Bharat, ICDS EO Sarita Rana briefed the SHG members on the Poshan Abhiyan. (DIPRO)
