SBI opens its newest branch at Kimin

KIMIN, Oct 23: The 61st branch of State Bank of India (SBI) in the state was inaugurated here under Papum Pare district on Wednesday amidst huge gathering of HODs, former PRI leaders, GBs and locals.
Addressing the gathering, SBI North East Circle, Network-1, General Manager Sudhir Kumar Sharma said that it was a long felt need of the people of the area.
‘Though it was under active consideration for last two years, but due to some technical problem, it was delayed,’ he disclosed.
The bank shall try its best to deliver best possible services to the customers, he said while seeking support from the local administration, citizens and well wishers for smooth functioning of the newest SBI branch.
Further the GM informed that besides the existing ATM at ITBP area, two more machines will be installed in Kimin town for the convenient of the customers. He appealed to the people to use them properly.
“It is the duty of citizens to protect public properties like ATM,” he added.
Local leader Bamang Mangha, speaking on the occasion, assured the cooperation of public to the SBI authorities for smooth functioning of the bank. He also appealed to the SBI authority to support needy people in availing bank loans.
The officials from SBI and local administration were also present on the occasion.
