NAHARLAGUN, Nov 2: The girls’ teams of KV No 1 and Good Shepherd Public School (GSPS) will take on each other in the final game of the first interschool basketball tournament, being organised by the Arunachal Pradesh basketball Association, at the Royal International School here, on Sunday afternoon.
The KV No 1 girls’ team qualified for the final after defeating Don Bosco School with 15-8 points in the semifinal on Saturday.
The GSPS girls’ team won against Model English School with 28-3 points to get a berth in the final.
The boys’ team of KV No 1 won its semifinal match against RGU Government Middle School with 30-27 points. The KV No 1 boys’ team will now be up against the highest scorers of the tournament, Don Bosco School, which beat the boys’ team of GSPS in the semifinal with 45-28 points.
