RUKSIN, Nov 9: Director of Industries Habung Donyi, accompanied by the department officials, visited the Industrial Growth Centre (IGC) in Niglok-Ngorlung in East Siang district on Saturday and took stock of the progress of industrial units.
This was his maiden visit to the industrial growth centre after assuming office.
The director inspected the ongoing industrial activities of the Sai Enterprise, a packaged drinking water plant and the Bhairavi Infrastructure Pvt Ltd-a concrete paver block manufacturing units. These units are functioning in the industrial growth centre since last few years.
He also inspected the Aether Alloys LLP and found satisfactory progress of its construction of civil works. The proposed manufacturing industry will produce Ferro-Silicon and Ferro-Alloys in the IGC.
The director and officials also visited the construction works of the ongoing 132/33 KV sub-station taken up by Power Grid. The work is scheduled for completion in March, 2020.
