NAHARLAGUN, Dec 18: A library established at GHSS, G-Sector here by the 138 battalion of the CRPF under its civic action programme was inaugurated by Commandant Paras Nath on Wednesday.
Speaking after inauguration, Nath highlighted on the CRPF’s civic action programmes for the welfare of the people of their area of deployment.
“The CRPF is always ready to help the people,” he said, and urged the public to feel free to approach the force to seek help, if needed.
Bookshelves along with books, tables and chairs were also donated by the CRPF.
School Headmistress T T Yaku thanked the CRPF for establishing the library.
