No connection between 2013 and 2017 APPSCEE

Dear Editor,
This is in response to the 6 January report, ‘APPSC files review petition against HC order on re-conducting APPSCEE’.
Comparing APPSCEE 2013 with APPSCEE 2017 is a pretext to hijack the present issue as it is completely different in nature. The 2013 issue was regarding paper leakage and the present issue is the out-of-syllabus questions in commerce paper. For that the commission had already informed that they had been adequately compensated for out-of-syllabus questions on pro rata basis, as per the standard norms of the UPSC. The protesters who were seeking extra time to cover up their syllabus have no right to take part in this legal battle, but they are the main supporters of the commerce case now.
To file a review petition in a higher court is a fundamental right. No one can question that.
Mains appeared candidates are not opportunists, as assumed by many. We had followed all the directives of the commission and given our examination in such a distressful atmosphere. Now we want our results and it will be decided in the court. No media trial please.
Sincerely,
Mains appeared
